About ELEVATE DM
ELEVATE DM is a Horizon Europe Twinning project that builds research data management capacity at the University of Tartu, working with two of Europe's leading research data infrastructures.
Estonia is among the most digitally advanced countries in Europe. Its research data management is not: fewer than ten people support more than 2,200 academic staff, there is no institutional data management policy, and no accepted way to measure what good data management is worth.

Our work is structured around six interconnected work packages that enable systemic change in research data management.

All three are ELIXIR nodes, connected long before the project began. The advanced partners bring mature national data ecosystems; Tartu brings the widening-country context in which the models have to work.

The Dutch national coordination point for health and life sciences data infrastructure, hosting ELIXIR-NL.
